Contract Sep 3, 2025 Facilities Services Equipment Operator/Landscaping Location: Sailfish Sands Golf Course Contract position with reSOURCE Government Services Pay rate: $17 hourly (nonexempt)  Work Schedule:  40 hours per week 5am - 1:30pm Must be available to work on weekends and report to work 6 days a week.  Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug testing Duties and Responsibilities Include: Operating large mowing equipment and tractors Mowing small turf areas using “fly-mo” or small push power mowers Trimming and edging using a gas-powered edger/trimmer Operating a gas-powered blower Using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, hoe, level-on, loopers, ax, etc. Trimming shrubs and low trees to shape and improve growth or to remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs using shears, pruners, or gas powered hedge trimmers Picking up leaves, trash, and cut grass and placing onto a truck or trailer Perform weeding by hand or using a garden hoe or hula hoe Ability to report for daily work at different job sites within region to perform required tasks May include Custodial and/or Irrigator duties as assigned. Daily monitoring of landscape beds to ensure appearance meets Owner expectations. Applying pesticides to remove harmful insects and disease Conducting general maintenance duties such as mowing, trimming, cleaning walkways and parking lots. Fertilize and irrigating plants to ensure proper health Maintain flower beds by removing weeds and dead plants, applying mulch, etc. Trimming overgrown limbs, hedges and leaves Planting new decorative bushes, annual flowers, plants and shrubs Operating riding and walking equipment, power tools and hand tools as required Policing areas for trash and debris removal Keeps buildings and property in clean and orderly condition. Performs routine maintenance activities. Performs heavy cleaning duties. Sweeps, mops, scrubs, or vacuums floors. Gathers and empties trash. Scrubs, sanitizes, and supplies restroom facilities. Dusts furniture, walls, and equipment. Cleans windows, mirrors, and partitions with soap and other cleansers. Mixes cleaning solutions and chemicals in containers in preparation for cleaning, according to instructions. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures. Manages inventory of cleaning supplies. Notifies managers regarding the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems. Physical demands are required for this position and might include, but are not limited to: Using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, hoe, level-on, loopers, ax, etc. Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly. Regular exposure to outside environment including rain, cold, sun, or night Especially Repetitive movement- twisting, turning, bending, squatting, stooping, standing, walking, sitting Qualifications: Knowledge of Operating riding and walking equipment, power tools and hand tools as required. Work is reviewed through the Food and Beverage Managers observation, facility inspections, and written and oral reports. Contract To Hire Jul 23, 2025 Utilities Martin County Utilities & Solid Waste Job Title: Utility Compliance Technician (Contract) Location:  3100 NW Hillman Drive, Jensen Beach, FL 34957 Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm (full time) Rate of Pay:  $25.00 per hour + benefits, PTO and holiday pay This position is contract staffed through reSOURCE Government Services working at Martin County BOCC. This is not a direct hire position with Martin County BOCC. SUMMARY: Responsible scientific, technical position performing the functions of the Utility’s environmental laboratory.  The nature of the laboratory’s work includes the sampling and analysis of potable, sewage, reclaimed, industrial and environmental waters. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Note: The listed duties are not intended to describe each and every function which may be performed.) Prepares for, and performs field sample collection using approved techniques, equipment and containers.  Assures that all samples are accurately identified and that Chain of Custody documents are properly prepared.  Expedites delivery of samples to laboratories. Calibrates, performs preventive maintenance and repairs to field instruments and other sampling equipment.  Programs, configures, maintains and performs minor repairs to automatic refrigerated samplers. Maintains complete and accurate documents including calibration records, field sheets, chains of custody and sample receipt log.  Successfully completes initial/continuing Demonstrations of Capability of proficiency in analyses performed by the laboratory. Conducts physical, chemical, and bacteriological analyses in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the laboratory Quality Manual; documents results and test conditions; and performs supporting functions. Compiles data and prepares reports for clients and regulatory agencies.  Enters data into various databases and spreadsheets.  Maintains files of laboratory reports and related documents.  Responds to inquiries and complaints from water utility customers and general public. Contract May 19, 2025 Civil Engineering Position: Senior Project Engineer (Martin County Public Works Department) Full time, Monday -Friday hours Pay scale: Salary negotiable depending on experience + benefits and FRS options provided Must be able to pass criminal background and drug testing *MUST be licensed as a Professional Engineer in the State of Florida. Summary Senior project management, civil engineering design and engineering oversight of specific Capital Improvement Plan roadway, bridge, building, storm water, parks, and utility projects.   Responsible for supervising subordinate Project Engineers, Project Managers, Construction Project Inspectors, CADD Technicians, consultants, contractors, and staff in the planning, design, and construction of capital improvement and infrastructure preservation projects.  Complex technical and professional work requires considerable contact with permitting agencies, utilities, and other County departments as well as public and private individuals and organizations. Essential Duties / Responsibilities & KSA's Supervises subordinate Project Engineers, consultants, contractors, and staff in the planning, design, and construction of capital improvement and infrastructure preservation projects. Reviews site plans, construction plans, storm water reports, geotechnical engineering reports, environmental impact reports, traffic studies, and cost estimates. Monitors construction schedules for expenditures and timeliness and compliance with capital projects budget.   Senior Project Engineer Assigned to Construction/Field Area: Responsible professional administrative and managerial construction engineering inspection (CEI) work in assisting the Capital Projects Administrator and supervising Construction engineering and inspection of CIP projects, Contract administration & management, project close out, and office staff. Assists the Capital Projects Administrator in the facilitation of Project Management, and Engineering Inspections with an emphasis on Construction Engineering and the implementation of the County's Capital Improvement Plan (CIP), Administration, planning, supervision, management of all assigned construction inspections including roadway, bridge, stormwater, park, building, coastal, and utility projects in the CIP. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Thorough knowledge of the capabilities and results of AutoCADD plans and Profile Drawings, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Skill in directing the work of professional engineers, technicians, contractors, and inspectors in a manner conducive to effective performance. Education and Experience Graduation from an ABET accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, and six (6) years of experience in review, design, and/or construction of roads, drainage, subdivisions, and/or commercial developments. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License Licensed as a Professional Engineer in the State of Florida. Relevant experience: PE license in the State of Florida, civil engineering, horizontal construction, wastewater, utilities and road construction management.
