SUMMARY:
Provides operational, technical and professional work in the planning, design, analysis, implementation, integration, management and support of software application systems implemented to support the automated business functions of the organization.

Assists in the management and maintenance of all production and nonproduction software application systems, including development, upgrades, support, reporting and administration.
Monitors systems for resource utilization and provides ongoing trend analysis for determining current need and forecasting future resource requirements.
Provides recommendations for upgrade paths based on compliance issues, vendor technology roadmaps, business trends and business processing requirements.
Assists in the development of standards, policies, configuration guidelines and procedures for software application systems.
Performs system reporting and query development, develops system documentation, performs on-call systems maintenance, systems migration, arranges or provides training for system users.
Designs and codes programs; evaluates, debugs, documents and implements purchased programs.
Provides written and oral reports of activities to management, users and consultants; participates in post-implementation reviews, revisions and acceptance decisions.
Performs software design and development, unit testing, performing design and code reviews and development of technical documentation.
Performs system analysis, code modifications and functional testing to troubleshoot application production issues.
