MAJOR FUNCTION
This position focuses on providing customer service and the preparation of food and servicing beach equipment. Work is reviewed through employee observation, facility inspection written and oral reports.
DUTIES
Operate a concession and beach equipment rental facility by preparing and providing patrons with food, supplies, refreshments, and various confectionery items in demand.
Prepare food and equipment for daily operations.

Using either the app on the park cell phone, iPad or desktop, determine which guests are leaving. Check out time is at 11:00am. If site is not clear and clean inform Parks Administration.
Using either the app on the park cell phone, iPad or desktop, determine which guests are arriving. Make sure their sites are open, clean, and the picnic table /fire ring are placed in the correct area.
Provide customer service by answering any questions asked by park patrons.

Pick up all litter and debris – including palm branches
Blow off sidewalks, crosswalks, pavilions and around restrooms

SUMMARY:
Semiskilled work in construction, maintenance of athletic fields, landscaping, facility
maintenance, inspections, and other assignments to areas of service within the Martin County
Parks and Recreation department. A person in this position is required to exercise initiative

under the general supervision of a Park Administrator.
