SUMMARY:
Professional and technical work specializing in both project management to ensure successful IT project implementations, and process analysis to streamline and automate departmental operations within the county. Requires specific knowledge of County operations on organizational, departmental and divisional levels. This position is the liaison between the various business units and other IT technical resources. This position will document business requirements, interpret technology solutions for the County, and develop business solutions through business analysis, functional and technical specifications, development and implementation, documentation, testing and training requirements.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project would be a plus.

Trains other county inspectors in proper inspection procedures.

SUMMARY:
Semiskilled work in construction, maintenance of athletic fields, landscaping, facility

Parks and Recreation department. A person in this position is required to exercise initiative
and independent judgment in performance of assigned tasks. Work is primarily performed
under the general supervision of a Senior Parks Specialist, Lead Parks Services Specialist,

Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Operating large mowing equipment and tractors
Mowing small turf areas using “fly-mo” or small push power mowers

Operating a gas-powered blower
Using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, hoe, level-on, loopers, ax, etc.
Trimming shrubs and low trees to shape and improve growth or to remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs using shears, pruners, or gas powered hedge trimmers
Picking up leaves, trash, and cut grass and placing onto a truck or trailer
Perform weeding by hand or using a garden hoe or hula hoe
Ability to report for daily work at different job sites within region to perform required tasks

Daily monitoring of landscape beds to ensure appearance meets Owner expectations.
Applying pesticides to remove harmful insects and disease

Operating riding and walking equipment, power tools and hand tools as required
Policing areas for trash and debris removal
Keeps buildings and property in clean and orderly condition.
Performs routine maintenance activities.

Sweeps, mops, scrubs, or vacuums floors.
Gathers and empties trash.
Scrubs, sanitizes, and supplies restroom facilities.
Dusts furniture, walls, and equipment.
Cleans windows, mirrors, and partitions with soap and other cleansers.
Mixes cleaning solutions and chemicals in containers in preparation for cleaning, according to instructions.
Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures.
Manages inventory of cleaning supplies.
Notifies managers regarding the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems.
